HK Group celebrates International Yoga Day

4455 employees participated in yoga



In the true spirit of Yoga-the union, 177 countries co-sponsored the United Nations resolution to declare International Day of Yoga (IDY) on June 21st every year.  Hari Krishna Group organized a Yoga programme on 21st June 2017, International Yoga Day in its factories at Surat, Sales Office at BKC and Seepz-Mumbai. More than 4455 employees and their family members participated in this program.

Hari Krishna Group-Mumbai has been conducting daily Yoga classes for the benefit of its employees and their family members. It also conducts focussed Yoga Shibirs in Surat that last for a month in the first half of every year. The management of the group realized that the integrated wellbeing of the employee is ensured through encouraging him to participate whole heartedly in Yoga programs.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr Ghanshyam Dholakia said, “Yoga is not just an exercise but it also helps us keep our minds and bodies healthy. The entire world is doing Yoga now and we are connected globally through this. Our employees participated with great enthusiasm and supported the initiative for a healthy living.”

The enthusiastic participation of our employees takes forward the Government of India’s vision to build awareness of Yoga as a practice that brings about physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of every individual.
