DPA Generic Promotion for India!

On July 26, Jean-Marc Lieberherr, CEO, DPA (Diamond Producers Association) announced their schedule to launch a generic promotions of diamonds in India. At the held event he said, “It is an important event for us to launch generic promotions of diamonds in India with GJEPC.”

He said Association of top seven diamond mining players DPA is committed for marketing funding for the year of 2017. It is being announced earlier that US $ 57bn would be spend in the H2 of 2017 for generic promotion activities of diamond.

It is likely to contribute around US $ to be spend in India for the objective yet, in a straight question made by veteran gem-n-jewellery trade media player. Would you say amount that to be spend in India for generic promotion of diamond? He said, no. Even if I am not disclosing any amount, generic promotion India would commenced by October 2017.”

At the event Jean-Marc said, Diamond to remain relevant to younger generation & for all! There is a need to establish an emotional bond between diamond and Consumer. Beyond Social, Rituals Status Luxury Universal emotional bond is needed to express genuine feeling & that to be connected with diamond.

In his concluding point he said, ‘Real is Rare. Real is a Diamond.’ campaign launched during the last October 2016 H2 in USA. From 2017 October all new campaign would be seen in India & US!
