New member of the Villeret collection!

Blancpain proudly presents its new member of the Villeret collection! It is with much delight that Blancpain is adding a new member to its Villeret collection, which offers a blend of horological complications and refined aesthetics. The latest creation from the Manufacture offers a large twin-aperture date display, along with a week of the year indication showing the number of the week around the rim of its dial with a traditional blued serpentine hand.

Meanwhile, to ensure visual balance as well as to enhance readability, the day of the week is also displayed with a blued hand on a subdial at 9 o’clock, while the change of the week of the year takes place with the transition from Sunday and Monday.

The piece adopts a 42mm red gold case which equipped with Blancpain’s patented under-lug correctors. On the dial, the chapter ring and Blancpain logo are enamel-painted, which is a decorative technique that requires multiple successive oven firings at an extremely high temperature of more than 800°C.

The timepiece is powered by Blancpain 3738G2 self-winding movement. It is equipped with three mainspring barrels guaranteeing an 8-day power reserve. A titanium variable-inertia balance with gold micrometric regulation screws and a balance spring in silicon work together to ensure the accuracy of the timekeeper.

The transparent sapphire case back offers a clear view of the finely hand-finished movement and the gold winding rotor with its honeycomb guilloché pattern. The piece is fitted with a hand-stitched chocolate-coloured alligator strap.
