Responsible business practice

The event would be held on 1 March 2018 Collector’s Gallery, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The discussion will focus on the commercial case for responsible business practices in the jewellery industry. It will outline how the RJC can equip organisations throughout the jewellery supply chain to respond to changing customer demands and increase opportunities to conduct business in the global jewellery industry.

Over all speakers are Mr. Ken Lo-Chairman of HKJJA (Eternity Manufacturing Ltd), Mr. Victor Chan-Vice Chairman of HKJJA (Continental Holdings Ltd), Mr Jonathan Kendall-Senior Vice President of Forevermark and President of CIBJO Marketing and Education Commission, Dr Guido Grohmann-Managing Director (BV Schmuck+Uhren) & Mr. Edward Johnson.

RJC Members commit to and are independently audited against the RJC Code of Practices – an international standard on responsible business practices for diamonds, gold and platinum group metals. The Code of Practices addresses human rights, labour rights, environmental impact, mining practices, product disclosure and many more important topics in the jewellery supply chain.
