Flying start of BDW debut

Update 1: Bharat Diamond Week (BDW) debuted with flying start at Bharat Diamond Bourse, Mumbai & opened up a great buying occasion to take an advantage of sourcing from a large manufacturing centre like India where one may prefer Flexible Diamond Sourcing! This is also a great way to build a confidence by meeting personally!

The three day expo, Bharat Diamond Week announced opened & also unveiled the Exhibitors Directory of Bharat Diamond Week Exhibition in the presence of Mr Edgard D Kagan, U.S. Consul General, Mr Anoop Mehta, President, Bharat Diamond Bourse, Mr Pramod Agarwal, Chairman, GJEPC, Mr Mehul Shah, Convener, Bharat Diamond Week, Mr Mahendra Gandhi, President, MDMA, Mr Reuven Kaufman, Chairman, Diamond Dealers Club, New York, Mr Russell Mehta, Managing Director, Rosy Blue (India), Mr Ashok Gajera, MD, Laxmi Diamond & Mr Rajesh Bajaj, Chief Editor, Heera Zhaveraat (HZ Intl.)Magazine – who published the directory. The opening session also witnessed by invitees, industry fraternity, exhibitors & buyers at the event.

Mr Anoop Mehta gave a brief overview of the BDB & reaffirmed all about best business practice. He underlined that there is zero tolerance for any such Synthetic diamonds in the boundaries of BDB. He also set a staunch relation between India & US as a largest manufacturing center India & biggest diamond buyer US. Anoopbhai delivered a welcome speech.

In the response Mr Kagan said, all about building a good relation between India & US, also appreciated this initiative. Where as Kaufman delivered all about his memories of his first visit in in the year of 2000 & how he feels homely India get expressed. No doubt he is a key man and with his cooperation India had organised several Diamond Week at DDC, NY well.

GJEPC chairman Mr Pramod Agarwal & Mr Mehta found on a same  wavelength for SMEs, he also acknowledge that being a leader it’s a onus of India move ahead! He saw the event as a good bost. BDW would conclude on April 25.
