BV Chinai & Co (India) Pvt Ltd joins RJC

BV Chinai & Co. (India) Pvt Ltd, (BVCI) India’s leading customs clearance company for diamond and jewellery, has achieved the certified Membership by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) for the Code of Practices (COP) 2019. RJC is the jewellery industry’s foremost standard-setting and certification body.

RJC membership always brings upon BVCI an enormous responsibility of ensuring the best practices in its business relationships & operations. BVCI’s ethical approach to business & continuous stress on regulatory compliances addresses the worries of its customers by assuaging and providing, in reality, a seamless EXIM operation. Further, this membership is a symbol of enhanced customer trust in BVCI.

BVCI will drive continuous improvement in responsible business practices across the jewellery supply chain as per the Code of Practices (COP) 2019. The COP defines the responsible ethical, human rights; social and environmental practices that all certified RJC members must adhere to.  It covers many more important topics of the jewellery supply chain which provides a strong system for assuring the customers, business partners and stakeholders that a company conducts its business responsibly.

The RJC is a not for profit standards-setting and certification organisation. It has more than 1100 member companies that span the jewellery supply chain from mine to retail. RJC Members commit to and are independently audited against the RJC Code of Practices – an international standard on responsible business practices for diamonds, gold and platinum group metals.
