Christie’s Magnificent Jewels achieved US$39.8

Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels July Auction achieved US$39.8 Million / HK$306,610,000 by Continuing Christie’s leadership in offering the finest quality coloured diamonds and gemstones at auction. The auction successfully sold by lot by 82% and also attains the sales by value: 92%.

The top lot of the sale at Christie’s led by 12.11 carat fancy intense blue/IF diamond’s ring that realised the price of HK$122,385,000/ US$15.9 million!

On 9th July, Christie’s Magnificent Jewels auction totalled HK$306,610,000 / US$39.8 million. The top lot of the sale was a 12.11 Carat Fancy Intense Blue/IF Diamond Ring, which realised HK$122,385,000 / US$15.9 million, (price per carat of US$1.31 million), sold after more than 15 minutes of spirited bidding. Another key attraction remained the 19.53 Carats Burmese Star Ruby Pendant Necklace, Etcetera /Price Realised the HK$20,525,000 / US$2.66 million.
