GJC hosted Preferred Manufacturers of India (PMI 5) – at Bengaluru
All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), the apex gem & jewellery trade body presented the 3nd show of the 5th edition of Preferred Manufacturer of India (PMI). With all the COVID safety measures covered, the three day event with 41 participant’s hosted more than 300 leading retailers spread across three days and 1800+ successful meetings making it one of the most successful PMI’s till date.
The success reflects why it is revered as India’s most premium and exclusive B2B marketing platform in the Gem and Jewellery sector. Defying all odds, the retailers turned out in great numbers and the PMI participants had a very fruitful networking meet. Being the first major event post COVID, the success of PMI marks a true benchmark for the Industry.
Speaking during the event Mr. Ashish Pethe, Chairman - GJC expressed “For GJC and its members, PMI is very close to the heart and there are a lot of retailers and lot of exhibitors who were eagerly waiting for PMI because it is the only platform where the owners get to meet each other with one to one contact.
I think in the coming year, many more successful PMI’s will be conducted because the convener who is also our vice-chairman has many grand plans for PMI and I am sure every event will be bigger and more successful than the preceding one.”
Mr. Saiyam Mehra, Convener-PMI and the Vice Chairman for GJC said, "“We are having a PMI after almost a year and during the pandemic we were doing engagement activities virtually. It is a matter of pride for GJC, as this is the first major event happening after the lockdown and has proved to be the landmark show which is happening physically, people are meeting one on one basis and interacting with each other. People have participating from across the nation.”
