Mining companies of Lesotho suspended market trade!

Parliament of the Kingdom of Lesotho amended the Lesotho Revenue Authority (LRA) Amendment Bill in the process of ‘Building a Resilient, Sustainable and Innovative Economy: Fiscal Consolidation amid Covid -1.

“We need to implement prioritized NRA reforms agenda in line with available fiscal space and ensure youth participation and inclusion of all disadvantaged groups in policy development and programming, improve public sector productivity, as well as deeper decentralization” said Thabo Sophonea.

This Lesotho Revenue Authority (LRA) Amendment Bill along with the sectoral issues and allocations, halted many mining activities on the stock market! Lucapa like diamond mining companies that shied away and closed the suspended market trade till further instruction.
