Design Inspirations on February 12

In an endeavour to define the Future of Jewellery Design GJEPC has organised the Design Inspirations, One-day jewellery design forecasting seminar in Mumbai on February 12, 2019 at Hall 1, Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO Compound, off Western Express Highway, Goregaon (E).

Powered by GIA India and In Association with Diamond Producers Association (DPA) the seminar is being scheduled to witness the expert’s expressions & presentations about Jewellery Design Trends from around the world.

According to the announcement, the dais of the seminar would welcome, Ami Patel- Stylist, Amith Sighee-IBM, Ankit Mehta-H. Dipak, Nirupa Bhatt-GIA, Pallavi Foley-Ace Jewellery Designer, Paola De Luca-International jewellery trend forecaster, Priti Bhatia –Ace Jewellery Designer, Richa Singh-DPA, Sachin Jain-DeBeers and Smitha Sadanandan- International Journalist.

Masters of curve-n-curl would focus & bring out the fresh insights which push the dynamic of the jewellery industry. According to the file, Commenting on Design Inspirations, Shri Pramod Agarwal, Chairman, GJEPC, said “Designing as per the latest trends and as per the market requirement is an area the Indian industry needs to focus more if we want to expand our hold in the global market. Apart from setting up new institutes at identified gem and jewellery clusters, the Council will further ramp up its existing gem & jewellery institutes by introducing new courses and facilities to meet our goal.”

The seminar de facto aim is to make India the design destination. And therefore it is all about an encouragement for jewellery manufacturing factory that they design their own products in the future rather than relying on global designs once they understand the trend!
