Anoop Mehta

Mr. Anoop Mehta is at present the President of Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB). He was also elected to the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) in 2003.

As president of the BDB, a non-profit making Company devoted to setting up world class diamond bourse in India, a post he has held since 2003, Mr. Mehta has been actively involved in the strategic planning and development of the project and under his stewardship the new bourse complex is expected to become operational very shortly.

Mr. Mehta has also been associated with The Gem &Jewellery Export Promotion Council for many years and is on the committee of the Diamond Exporters Association Limited (DEAL).

After entering the family run business at a young age, Mr. Mehta has been actively involved in the diamond industry for more than 30 years. He is a director of Mohit Diamonds a partner in Mohanlal Raichand & Sons, one of the oldest diamond exporters in India, established in 1916 and a partner in Mohit Jewellery which is engaged in manufacturing and exporting jewellery.
