The 9th edition of National Jewellery Awards 2019_ Swarovski collaborates as Trophy Partner

GJC congratulated Swarovski for their 125 years anniversary and honoured Mr Rajendra Jain as “Face of Swarovski in India” and contribution to Gem & Jewellery industry.

Swarovski brand partners Emerald Jewel Industry bags the Platinum Jewellery of the Year and GRT Jewellers won the Pearl Jewellery of the Year Award at the NJA 2019 by GJC.

15th February 2020, Grand Finale of National Jewellery Awards 2019 presented by NSE & Trophy Partner Swarovski Gemstones was held at Renaissance Hotel Powai Mumbai. Country’s most prestigious award that honours the work of students, designers, manufacturers and Retailers in various categories was glammed up by the guest of honour for the evening Bollywood Star Esha Gupta.

The National Jewellery Awards serves to connect with the National Gems and Jewellery communities which further emphasize and support the upcoming talent in national destinations and communities. It promotes & motivates the traditional essence of Indian culture in the form of jewellery through the craft, inspiration, passion, devotion, enthusiasm and innovative spirit of the jewellers in the industry.

Ernst and Young were the process advisors to the awards this year, adding scrutiny and secrecy to the awards, thus ensuring the unbiased and transparent process.

This year the reign was in the very capable hands of Mr Ashish Pethe Convener NJA and Co-Convener Mr Nilesh Shobhawat & Mr Ashish Kothari under the leadership of GJC Chairman Mr N. Anantha Padmanaban and Vice Chairman Mr Shaankar Sen who together with the entire GJC committee and GJC team conceived this marvellous event.

The Indian Jewellery fraternity congratulates Swarovski for celebrating its 125 years Anniversary. Rajendra Jain, Managing Director - Swarovski Gemstones, India was felicitated by the Bollywood celebrity Esha Gupta and The Gems & Jewellery Domestic Council of India as a face of Swarovski for the success and growth of Swarovski Gemstones business in India and for his immense contribution to the Indian jewellery industry.

Swarovski brand partner Emerald Jewellery Industry won the well-deserved Best Platinum Jewellery of the Year Award for a unique pair of platinum earrings studded with Swarovski Zirconia and GRT Jewellers won Best Pearl Jewellery of the Year Award at the National Jewellery Awards 2019.
